Have we ever gotten 3 SEC home games in a row?
3-9

if so, it's been a while.
that's not a terrible schedule, the roster, who knows.

Not sure I see 3 wins on there. We may get beaten by Ark. State which would be disastrous.

I've always maintained that while this would be a big deal in the state, the rest of the country wouldn't care. We're not relevant and most people would shrug and acknowledge inner state rivalry.
3 home SEC games in a row is a drag if you actually go to games. By game 3 you're not willing to lose your third weekend in a row.

Yeah, we've done that before as you know. Hated driving back 6 hours with another loss. It got old quickly. If not for seeing old friends, we would have given it up a lot sooner.

I wasn't necessarily saying it was a good thing. Last year we played 4 straight on the road and next year we're playing 3 straight at home. Seems like the league could find a middle ground.
If we were to lose to Tech and ASU and beat Alabama State as surely even Sam can do, we could potentially be looking at the Memphis game for hitting the magic number to reduce the buyout to 50%.
If we win one of those two above, it likely would happen in Knoxville.
If we were to win both of those two, we'd have to lose all the rest through Auburn (which is certainly doable).
If my math is right, the difference between 75% and 50% next year would be somewhere around $3.3 million.
And yes, this is the only reason I had any interest in seeing the schedule come out today.
5 wins if we're lucky
6-6
10-2.
This is our year.
What are you all basing these predictions on? We don't even know who half our starters will be?
2-10 season incoming.

clearly for the 4th year in a row they are running oft the lazy fuckers and locker room lawyers in order to bring in real talent.

The prediction thread last year at this time looked the exact same.
Looking at the SEC schedules as a whole, a couple of things pop out:
1) No Vandy for us, again. Maybe a good thing.
2) Texas plays @UGA the week before they play us.
3) Mizzou doesn't play a road game until Oct 18

Rough guesses based on how this year has gone and what I think I remember the other teams losing and returning pre-portal.
Alabama St, Arkansas State,
@Memphis, Auburn, Mississippi State are the ones I see us having an actual shot at. Do that and the Missouri game is our chance at bowl eligibility. Of course that would also mean that we totally tank the LSU and Texas games to prepare for those yellow assholes.
Bad home losses to Aggie and Auburn though means there's no crowd there for the Mississippi State game. I hope ESPN goes ahead and books that game just so they can show our smallest crowd in 50 years.
Auburn will beat our asses next year.

The SEC schedule is the exact same for every team in 2025 except for the home/away games are flipped.
We already knew Vandy was not going to be on our schedule.

And Texas hosts the Aggots the week after us. They'll still beat our asses but that's a gift from the scheduling gods.

If they get the QB Murphy from Duke, I tend to agree. They do lose Hunter though.
2 win season. Sam leaves just like Chad. Humiliated failure but rich. He'll live with that ok. No coach is as comfortable with losing than fucking Sam Pittman
Some of you have jumped the shark. We win at least 5 games. Most likely it's somewhere between 6 and 8 wins.
I'm just amazed Notre Dame agreed to play us at all. Rent-a-win I guess.
