Your Arkansas Razorbacks take on the eATMe faggies in an important three game series starting tomorrow at 7:00PM on the SECN. The series resumes (probably a double header) on Friday at 6:30PM and, weather permitting concluding Saturday at 4:00PM. Supposed to be very windy Thursday and Friday and a 95%chance of thunderstorms Saturday, so this schedule will probably change at some point. The collie breeders seem to have been playing a lot better since the season started. Our bats are still fairly hot (except Iredale's) and maybe our pitching on Friday and Saturday will be better. I read somewhere that DVH may pitch by committee now, which sounds good.

I am not sure. On a side note, the last two games of the series will be on SECN+ or the ESPN app.
Looks like the rotation will be Root, Wood, and Biedleshies. Hope Wood is fully healed.

It's futile to follow a baseball season game by game. There will be hot stretches and cold stretches in any season. We had a hot stretch until before Georgia, now we are in a cold stretch. A&M had a horrible cold stretch for a few weeks, now they're in a hot stretch.
So there are only two keys. Be consistent enough to get a good position in the NCAA tournament, then hit a hot stretch during the NCAA tournament.

Good night all. This game is over. Hope I'm wrong but sure seems likely that we lose three of the next four series.
BullPen was ass tonight. And hitters strike out way to much.
I've stopped giving a shit about a national seed.
We were a national seed in 2021, 2023, and 2024, and we lost in a Super once and got bouncer in our own regional twice.
Meanwhile we had to go on the road in 2022 and made the CWS and were a game away from playing for (and likely winning) it all.
This team needs to eat a little shit and then get hot at the right time. And the pitching staff needs to get its shit together.
We looked really good against USCe and Mizzou... We may be a paper tiger.
I need to start not giving a shit. THat is usually when we start doing better.
It's an immutable rule of my existence than whenever a Razorback team gets good enough for me to start to look forward to their games, they immediately go on a losing streak. Except football, they mostly suck no matter what.
I think whatever publication that had us at around #11 when all the others had us at #2 or #3 were probably right. We look great against decent teams, but not so good against the upper echelon. And with the gauntlet we have left, we may have trouble winning 40 games.
We definitely have the talent. Our starting pitching needs to figure it out. My worry is we don't really have three starters but rather a staff of middle relievers. Getting Woods back is good. I don't hold game two against him. He needs to be throwing midweek though.

I wouldn't give up on Wood, but he's not ready yet. If we ramp him up slowly he could be ready to peak by tournament time.
His velocity was fine, but I suspect a lot of that was because he was overthrowing.
