Title: Not sure if this was discussed elsewhere - ONE FIVE
Post by: Rick B. on Sep 04, 2025, 03:16 PM
If you are a Hogs+ subscriber, man, go watch ONE FIVE.  If you're dumb or live in a cave and don't know, it's a chronicle of Ryan Mallett.  I went to the premiere last night.  It's damn good.  The first five minutes is freakin intense.  And reliving that LSU game in LR in 2010.... great memories!  It was fun watching Joe Adams' reactions to that part of the movie at the premiere.  There were few dry eyes in the joint last night.

Seriously ...that 2010 LSU game is in my top 3 Hog games of all time. Hell it may be #1.

For me I think 1999 against Tennessee was one of my top 3 games, Matt Jones miracle on Markham mainly because I was there in that endzone, and 2010 LSU game was no doubt the most satisfying ass kicking I've ever seen.

Watching Knile Davis just smash LSU in the fucking mouth for 5 or 6 yards every play on that last drive to run out the clock and there being NOTHING they could about was truly glorious.

That is probably my favorite DRIVE ever.

Someone pirate it.  I still get emails asking if I meant to unsubscribe from Hogs+... and that happened 3 years ago.

Not that we were a great team, but the cock block in the rock is up there for me just from the sheer volume of the crowd the entire 60 minutes. Wingo TD against Bama in 2010, Desmond Williams killing the USC guy in 2006, and Miracle on Markham were louder in that moment but there was something about that South Carolina game for a full 60 minutes. Crowd was batshit nuts.

2006 Tennessee another good one.

On that drive, Davis had six carries and Green had four. Davis had more yards, but it was the combination that plowed the road.

Still, it was incredible that Mallett for the first time in his career was basically only a handeroffer for that possession.
