I've said it before, but we majorly fucked up but not firing Sam after the Mizzou meltdown last year.
Literally no one else was hiring. We were 6-6, bowl bound, and in decent shape in terms of the perception of our job.
But no, in typical Arkansas fashion we chose wrong, and opted to roll the dice with a washed up, lazy coach for one more season and ultimately bottom out and enter the most crowded coaching carousel season ever and with the national perceptions of our program back at Chad levels.

For some reason I watched that goal line failure again. We weren't man enough to score on that possession. The country's dumbest fanbase is screaming that we should have run it wide and that Bobby is washed, but we all know if that hadn't worked they'd be telling us that we should have just lined up and punched it down their throats. We've embraced awful brother. Its a way of life around here. We have kids entering high school who were babies the last time we won back to back 10 win seasons, and the last time before that was when the parents of those kids were kids in the late 80's.

NIL has changed everything. I recently asked a person who is a much more involved LSU football fan and a much bigger fan of LSU than I am - How much NIL money does LSU have to spend on players? He doesn't know. I'm not sure anybody knows.
It's pro football now and the programs that spend the most money will be winners.
