Title: Arkansas has a chance to do the funniest thing...
Post by: buff2.0 on Nov 22, 2025, 08:36 AM
I mean, we won't, but we still have a chance to.  Fuck any tacky ass team that thinks burnt orange looks good.

Why do most Longhorn fans love game day so much?  It's the closest they'll ever get to being on UT's campus.

Little known history fact: During the Red River Bridge War in 1931, Texans threw sticks of dynamite across the river at Oklahomans. The Oklahomans would pick up the dynamite, light them and throw them back.

If this is intended to be the game thread, it's cleverly disguised.  But I will play.

Texas has one player on the injured list.

We have about a dozen who will not play due to injuries.  Not a good sign.

If we don't get pressure on Arch, he will pass for 1,000 yards. He doesn't do well under pressure, but we will probably rush 3, and he will have all day back there.

Actually we're no rushing any.  But we're not covering any either. Why bother?

If we win there will be heavy pressure for the bot to fire Sark for cause. The rumors of his swinging lifestyle and wife fucking players and such are coming out.

How do you coach a cornerback that's been places you couldn't reach?

"Come on, as soon as you see that ball come out you gotta be ready to drop your shoulder and lay out that hit."

"Man, shut the fuck up before I drop these balls and lay out another pipe into your old lady."

If Texas lost to us and Aggie, would Sark be gone?

I wonder if Bobby plays the younger QB today seeings how it's sounding like he's not coaching here next season regardless of what happens in the next couple games. I'd be playing the kid I might be able to snag out of here and start developing him. Then again maybe he doesn't want him traumatized by playing behind a shit offensive line.

If he hasn't pulled Green yet, he won't do it now. There have been about 5 different recent game situations that screamed out for a QB change and Green trotted his dumb blind ass back out there.

if petrino knows he's not going to be the head coach going forward, i think he'd like to keep jackson on the shelf as long as possible so he can get him in the portal at his next stop.

also i think he really wants to see green get drafted. feather in the cap and all that.

If Green gets drafted , it will be in the late, late rounds. He is a head case that misses too many wide open receivers.

Seems to be the more Green plays, the less likely it would be that he gets drafted. He should "get a knee" and cut his losses.

after like 5 years of bi-polar play I think you are pretty much who you are. If Petrino can't fix your accuracy and mental grasp I doubt anyone else will either. If anything maybe gets a shot as a athlete after a position switch. There's no feather in the cap to be had here.

Hypothetically, if there was, what would you call it?

"Macaroni" is already taken.
