Revenge game. Let's whip their asses and send them back to focusing on winning the natty in football.
Fuck Texas Tech, just to put it on the record
My boss went to Texas tech. Me and my coworkers call them pew-pew to make fun of their finger guns they do.
Quote from: BASS on Dec 13, 2025, 10:25 AMMy boss went to Texas tech. Me and my coworkers call them pew-pew to make fun of their finger guns they do.
It is goofy but I kinda respect them for keeping it around during the PC era. It hasn't gone the way of the Red River SHOOTOUT!
Let's see who shows up today
Pringle and ewin better do a while lot better against toppin than they did boozer
Let's just beat the shit out of them start to finish
Their big guy carries on every dribble
Bullshit foul
No over the back there. Nothing to see
Sweet drive and pass by Acuff. Knox nearly fucked it up
Toppin is a problem. We have to learn how to rebound at some point. Brazile and Pringle have to limit their fouls or he will dominate us.
Quote from: Pig Benis on Dec 13, 2025, 11:12 AMToppin is a problem. We have to learn how to rebound at some point. Brazile and Pringle have to limit their fouls or he will dominate us.
we aren't even trying to rebound like we did playing Louisville
It would be nice to get a rebound every now and then
Washington generals sequence there after the steal
Well shit
Jt toppin must be the best basketball player in history the way this guy keeps droning on about him.
Well shit again
Quote from: BASS on Dec 13, 2025, 11:19 AMJt toppin must be the best basketball player in history the way this guy keeps droning on about him.
this commentary guy is talking way too much
Post up players kill us. Boozer, Toppin, I believe Mich St had one. Cal needs to recruit one.
We're playing well and aggressive. Just can't keep from missing shots.
How was that not a foul?
I want to see Toppin and Boozer match up.
Lol did he just push off AND walk with no call?
They are mugging us!
Pew-pew might be better than Louisville, Mich St, and as good as Duke.
He stepped out
Just keep playing hard, we'll win this.
Ewin! More of that please.
Ewin had all the momentum, and then did that
Ewins balls drop there for a minute?
Knox! Booyah!
Knox coming alive!
Rebounds make such a difference.
That was such a nice mid-court trap but the ball just fell back into their hands for the last shot. I love that the announcers sound like they were lucky to get this game.
Unfortunate sequence to end the half. We're gonna have to get plain mad dog mean in the second half to win this one. Where's Richmond?
Quote from: BASS on Dec 13, 2025, 11:19 AMJt toppin must be the best basketball player in history the way this guy keeps droning on about him.
They literally compared him to Michael Jordan.
We all knew that 3 was going in. This team won't quit.
Hopefully the refs don't get too involved in the 2nd half and we get the same game rhythm. That was a watchable half of basketball.
Quote from: BASS on Dec 13, 2025, 11:38 AMPew-pew might be better than Louisville, Mich St, and as good as Duke.
I think they're better than Louisville but not on the level of Dook or MSU.
Tough luck to finish the half since we had a good half court trap but we can get this one. It would be a huge resume win.
Quote from: Corn Pop on Dec 13, 2025, 11:55 AMUnfortunate sequence to end the half. We're gonna have to get plain mad dog mean in the second half to win this one. Where's Richmond?
Sat after his second foul.
With the exception of about a 2-3 minute stretch near the end we played like absolute ass AND were extremely unlucky.
If we can keep the defensive intensity and maybe get Billy to bait #4 into taking a swing at him we're in a decent spot.
Tech sure gets away with a lot of foot shuffling.
Quote from: The Whyte Boar on Dec 13, 2025, 12:03 PMTech sure gets away with a lot of foot shuffling.
Seems like no 3 shuffles and carries all the time.
Straight up shoved our guy
Pringle is a mole that is getting paid by someone that hates us
They are fouling the fuck out of us!
These refs are on the take. Gotta be.
These are Big 12 refs, yes? Don't recognize any of them.
Billy showed up!
Goddamn, how many layups are we gonna miss today? And free throws?
That was perfect
We just can't win any of the coin flips today
Holy fucking shit balls ref!
Do these motherfuckers think they are calling an NBA game? Call a fucking travel!!
FTs and refs.
We're getting fucking mugged and they call that on Billy. Holy shit
These are two good teams playing well on both ends of the court. If the refs would just call a straight game. We'd be set.
Hell yes, Trevon!
Thought they t'd us up for celebrating there for a minute
On fucking fire. 5-6 from deep for brazile
LFG!!
Well that was a fucking fun minute of ball
Richmond just picked his pockets. That was clean.
Need to hit free throws from here on out. I think pew-pew is getting tired. Keep pushing, stay aggressive on both ends.
Maybe we're getting to their legs a little.
Quote from: Cornhogio on Dec 13, 2025, 12:40 PMMaybe we're getting to their legs a little.
I didn't realize they were only rotating 6 guys.
That's a bold strategy.
Jump ball
Bad foul on Richmond
Man what a game
They make every kill shot three
Acuff asked em how they like his nuts
Toppin is playing tired. Good.
Brazile!
Hell yeah!
nasty!
Damn, Trevon don't be so mean!
Acuff shouldn't have forced that break
Where is the fucking travel?
I think Knox and Trevon took the loss last year especially hard.
Score? I am in the middle of the Atlantic.
I never thought this game would be so high scoring
Brazile did not foul Toppin. Fuck all refs.
Weak foul call compared to what they're doing.
That's one traveling sumbitch.
Quote from: Son of Spam on Dec 13, 2025, 12:56 PMScore? I am in the middle of the Atlantic.
85-81 us. They're shooting an and one with 2:44 left.
We just need to keep trading baskets at this point
Why do refs constantly let "name" players get away with all kinds of shit? First Boozer, now Toppin.
85-81 us
TB is playing like he's possessed
Cheap foul call on Knox. Calling it on the floor was a mercy to us.
Toppin has an ugly ft shot.
Damn Wagner
Have we set the record for misses within 2 feet of the basket yet?
Didn't see a foul their either
87-83 59 left
Damn those bitches were really going to pretend it didn't hit the rim
These refs aren't biased, they're just fucking awful at their job
87-83 59 seconds left, our ball
Quote from: BASS on Dec 13, 2025, 01:02 PMHave we set the record for misses within 2 feet of the basket yet?
We'd be up double digits if we made half the makeable layups and dunks.
That was almost awesome
Another missed dunk
Place would have needed roof repairs if he had made that
Brazile going to play his way into the draft. Maybe he didn't like being left off the top 100 players list.
TB doing it all
That'll do pig.
I'm waiting until it's under 30 seconds to get my hopes up
Brazile locked down the game ball with that block
89-83 38.8 left
When I am allowed to go all in? Is now ok?
Unbelievable effort and game by Brazile
That'll do it
Heck yes boys
aevcwd.jpg
I don't think we win this game if it was our first "marquee" game this season.
Instead it's our fourth. We're battle tested.
93-86 10 seconds left
They'd need Reggie Miller to win now
What great game. Good win.
If we play like this every game, we won't lose another one. Go ahead and order the banners.
Great win!
Helluva win!!
Need that Knox the rest of the season

Thanks for the score updates. Great win.
Solid win. I'm guessing a lot of people watched this game. This should get our name moving around some more.
Excellent win. Metrics and talking heads have really not been very high on us at all. That Louisville game seems to have people thinking it was more Louisville having an off night than it was us actually looking good.
I like this team a lot. Acuff is a lot of fun to watch.

I only got to watch the last 10 minutes of the game. From what I can gather, that was the best part. Tech's offense that I saw was throw it in to Toppin and let him push or walk his way to the basket (the Boozer approach). That one where he took about 5 shuffle steps with no call was ridiculous.
The Razorback offense was more balanced but BRAZILE. What a second half. Him and Acuff are a good 1-2.
Good win.
Really nice to see Knox with w nice game. We have a lot of potential weapons. It looks like we are going to have at least three or four players who are capable of having a big night every single time we step on the floor.

I generally agree but Toppin wasn't getting ALL the calls like Boozer. No one has since Lebron in his flopping prime. He dominated us in the first half but Brazile played his best game to date. Great team win. I'm not sure anyone had a "bad" game. Knox getting 20 is a great sign going forward.

Today, Saturday, December 13, 2025, following Arkansas's 93-86 victory over Texas Tech, John Calipari's postgame interview was well-received for his praise of his team's effort, emphasizing they "earned this today," and his comments regarding the physicality of the game and how the team managed it. Key takeaways from the popular interview:- Praise for the team's fight: Calipari highlighted his team's resilient mindset, noting that they fought until the very end to secure the win.
- "We earned this today": He expressed how proud he was of the players' performance in a tough, high-stakes game against a ranked opponent.
- Managing physicality: He discussed the intense, physical nature of the matchup, noting that they were down at halftime but adjusted their play in the second half to overcome the deficit, showcasing their ability to handle a "street fight" type of game.
- Blocking out noise: Calipari mentioned instilling a mindset in his players to block out outside noise, which helped them focus and deliver when it mattered most.
- Dallas love: He expressed his appreciation for playing in Dallas, noting the strong fan support and how it felt like a home game for the Razorbacks.
The interview was generally liked for his positive energy, focus on team effort and resilience, and his direct and engaging communication style with the media.

Cal is a stud.
Wagner played great D. Really disruptive.
Ewins balls dropped. If he gets us points on the block like today, we are going to be a problem. He's the only back to the basket guy we have.
He did a great job on the glass, a couple of his offensive rebounds led to a 3 point play and a Brazile 3.
Knox looked smooth today. He wasn't pressing and was back to affecting the game with great energy. He blocked shots, got rebounds and defended like the All SEC player we thought he was.
Acuff is just a joy to watch. He controls the game and has a 4 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. Only Lee Mayberry did better at 5 to 1. He's better offensively though. He's a 20 piece guy and a total player. What exactly is his weakness? I cant find it.
Thomas struggled some but you just look at him and know he's going to get 35 in one of these. He plays great defense too. His steal on the missed dunk was great. I disagree about him having a bad game, he was havoc on the defensive end.
Brazile. Just wow. He was the best player on the court in all aspects in the 2nd half. He made 3s. He drove and dunked. He got boards. He played great defense. Looked like an All American.
Cal. Cal is such a goat. He's a stud and he's pulling all the right strings with this group. Our plays are fantastic. The offense is smooth and the team is connected. He's a legend and he's coaching at a level Kentucky fans recognize from his title team. They are crying and it is glorious.

You can tell the team bought into the preseason gauntlet. They dropped the first two games but never gave up. Things they were failing to do vs Michigan State and Duke are much better now.
We're going to be clicking come conference play
Well put red death.
Lots of folks watched it on phones during Graduation at BWA (including me) and chancellor in closing remarked numerous grads were giving him updates as they were walking across the stage.
Toppin was walking all day long, is there a rule they don't call walking in nba arenas?
Good win!
What a fantastic game. Our fans had to outnumber theirs 3 to 1, it was impressive. Felt like a home game once we got back into it.
Their band and cheerleaders traveled, why didn't ours? They even had seats reserved for our band unused. Fayetteville is pretty much the same distance as Lubbock. Without that organization it impacts the fans, same happened with the games in DFW last year.
Speaking of traveling, Toppin is good but everyone in the arena was on the refs about him taking steps. Frustrating.
Brazile is our soul this year. Stepping up big time when we need it. He directs the younger players on where to be and what to do, he pumped up the crowed and got them into it. Shut down Toppin at the end on defense and made offensive plays when we needed him to. Epic improvement this season.
We are still vulnerable inside. Pringle plays soft for all that bulk, Ewin is smaller but he was busting his ass trying at least.
Acuff makes everything look effortless. I looked Boogie but he'd be riding the bench if he came back.
All this was probably already said, but I'm not reading back through 8 pages. I'm drunk.
Absolutely epic game, so much fun.

I'd be thrilled if we got Richmond, Ewin, and Sealy back next year. DJ is a possibility as well, and right now we don't have a PG signed. Semedo might develop into something. That would be a solid defensive group (with Andrews and Toure) but would need some shooting/scoring.
