I entered the lottery for tickets for the 97 FF in Indy and got tickets. Went up for it and saw her after the semifinal finals walking out and talked to her for several minutes. That being said, they got every bounce on the offensive boards. We shot terrible at the line and from 3. Kinda glad we have an off week to stew on this loss.

We were up 2 mid way through the second half, and he cut to the basket. The pass was bad, but he didn't make a full effort (he wasn't alone in this) to go for the ball. KY player stole it and had an easy dunk to tie it. I'm not sure, but I think that's the last time we had the lead. In short, he didn't do a damn thing. I'd be OK with Billy starting from now on.

Acuff had an off night (for him). We couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, and our free throws..SMH. And, they couldn't miss. Every rebound came their way. And, they went inside on us the whole second half. We couldn't stop shit. I figured that some team would find a way to make Acuff uncomfortable, and when they did, nobody else showed up.
After one of the last games, I said on here that poor free throw shooting and getting out rebounded would get us beat.
Add to that 3-14 (I think) from the 3 point line, and we are lucky we ever got a lead.

Everything that could have went wrong did last night and KY played their best game of the year. We are at our best in transition and only had 2 fastbreak points last night.
I'd like to see us play a little more with Knox at the 4 and slide TB to the 5 (or Ewin). That may help get him going. That gets Billy more mins as well at the 3.

I will say this in a modest defense of our defensive execution (which I think needs to be much better too), teams make fucking ridiculous shots against us. I watch all these teams play their other games and they hit nothing like they do against us. We can be guarding guys well 27 feet from the basket with the shot clock down to one second and they drain a three.
With Cal and all pub, we have reached the point where we get every single team's absolute best effort. It really shows when we are even halfway flat. We have to get the intensity up for every game.
