Title: Miracle: The Boys of 1980
Post by: DrMongoose on Feb 07, 2026, 10:16 PM
Now on Netflix.

Wow - a must watch and just very well done.

How has it been 46 years? And if you lived it back then you will get emotional, a lot.

The hour and 41 minutes fly by.

We just finished it and it was awesome. I've watched Miracle a few times but we were 6 in Arkansas in 1980 so we didn't experience that magic when it was happening.

Al Michaels' finest hour, perhaps.

ESPN did a 30 for 30 on the Soviets that was also really good.  Of Miracles and Men.  Worth the watch.

Loved it.

Those American competitor's in this years Olympics that are finding it difficult to represent the US need to watch it.

If they still feel that way, fuck them.

Tell them to defect to the country of their choice. Just don't come back here.

It was a great watch. We watched it with our boys and they loved it. I was too young to remember it in real life but obviously knew about it later.  Really well done documentary and worth the time to watch.  My kids had no idea about it and love an underdog story, hence them being Razorback fans.
