They just beat a salty Wisconsin team today, and if you overlook them you'll be the next chapter in their Cinderella story.

Hi Point is a cheap ass unreliable semiautomatic handgun. If we can't beat a Saturday night special, we might as well go home.
By my calculation, high point gets three hours more rest than we do.
They can't win the SEC though
Guarandamntee you High Point players go back to the hotel and jerk off to Hoosiers tonight.
Their coach looks and sounds like he should be doing news reels for Iraq or Iran.
They are gay and we're going to beat the coondog shit out of them.
"I don't know anything about High Point, but I know they're in trouble"
We should beat High Point. And, we are an extremely talented team offensively. But, we just don't have enough players to make a deep run in the tournament. The injury bug is fucking killing us.

They nearly swept Florida in baseball and now a tourney upset.
Pretty good 2 weeks for High Point.

Is that based on game location time or central time? What's our record at 6:45 game location
?
I think we still win, but if they shoot 40 threes you're going to be able to make a highlight reel of our team flying though the air biting at pump fakes.
'Member last year when we choked against Texas Tech in the tourney? That was an after 9:00 tip and the longest day ever waiting.

That was adjusted for central time. But I think it's actually 3-1.

He told a hilarious story about Tony Bua running around in the huddle one game telling everybody he was going to try to knock himself out today . That man loved to hit. That was a good group of LB.
It was. Moving Bua to safety his senior year was a huge mistake. All that dude ever wanted to do was run downhill and hit someone.

I'll never forget him in the NFL as a wedge buster hitting two men simultaneously on one kickoff, and knocking them both unconscious.
I think they made a rule after that.

Question: why was High Point able to limit our oops and dunks?
Quote from: Sus-Scrofa on Mar 23, 2026, 01:48 PMQuestion: why was High Point able to limit our oops and dunks?
I had the same question. I know there isn't an official oop stat, but we had to have had more this year than ever. I think we had a couple of layups off of lobs Saturday.
HP was really quick and were able to stay all up in our shit. We are not a particularly good screening team so we didn't have guys who had the spacing to get open for oops. HP also did a great job of not getting lost on defense.

They have a damn good team and it was a quality win.
