I've been that guy.... Predicting a close win against an opponent that overmatches us in every way.
It's never worked in my favor, and I always feel stupid for being so optimistic.
I mean lets just look at it like this...has the Hogs ever went to the west in anything semi meaningful and not pissed down it's leg? Outside of the men's basketball team beating Gonzaga and putting up a good fight against Dook I can't think of a time this program hasn't shit itself.
I liked this program better when we would play 3 cupcakes to start the season and then be completely blind sided by how unprepared we were for SEC play. EVERY YEAR.
