I've decided we need to name each game thread this season after a Deadwood Episode so please follow accordingly.
Official time to kickoff: 11am
Where: NWA--Fayetteville campus soon to be somebodies bank in Kansas' stadium
Time of Death: whenever Bobby was fired
I thought it was a buttsex reference

For those experts out there, a question: When faced with the unavoidable proposition of taking copious amounts of cock for an extended period of time, is it best to get knockout drunk before or dispense with the fucking about and go straight to the weapons grade pharmaceuticals?

Honestly for most of us I would recommend going straight to the horse tranquilizers. The nobville types microdose cock year round so they'll be able to make it by with just an aspirin.
I put the over/under for the number of plays before Georgia's first offensive score at 4. Georgia's first defensive score at 10. Georgia scoring on special teams at 1.5.

I predict we score first. We'll have one good drive scripted out.
This will all take just long enough for all of us to foolishly think "hey, maybe we figured out how not to be completely embarrassing."
Then Georgia will score a few plays after we all have that thought. And for the rest of the game: pain.
Just got a text from the Razorback app about the hog walk starting. I bet that's where all of y'all are this morning.

I like this game. Adds much needed interest.
I'll go:
Offense - their 1st series, 11th play
Defense - our third series, 2nd play
Punt return - none
Kickoff return - we score a TD on our 5th possession, they return tho KO
This is going to be like Miami in War Memorial Stadium bad. Except back then, we thought we were pretty good.
Miami's first drive was 97 yards in 3 plays. I expect that kind of beat down. Anything less will be considered victory.
I just hope to make it long enough on the east side to see the band at the half. I didn't for the first game.
A definite omen or a new feature for the Hog Walk. Not sure which...
https://x.com/djshockley3/status/2101278372835872990?s=46
If we don't score today, that video will become a big thing.
I predict that they will run the opening kickoff back for a TD. It will get worse from there.

From what I learned playing NCAA Football 2025, you never have recruits visit on a weekend when you know you will lose.

And there's the dumb play call to end a good drive.

How many plays is this? 9? 10?
They will score as many points as they want to score.
Like ca ca through a goose.

They're already taking it easy on us with these play calls.
Why is it that I can tell which way the play is going by the way the offensive linemen of Georgia are leaning and our defense can't.
This is like watching that Bishop-Sycamore High School from a few years ago were a bunch of fat 20 year olds nearly died playing against a bunch of 4 and 5 star recruits.

If they blitz, we may have casualties
We already have about as many first downs as I expected for the game.
Jackson has already made about as many boneheaded decisions as we have first downs.

No sense in throwing the defensive flag if the pass is caught. Also the refs have their mortgages bet against us covering the spread. Not because they're corrupt, but because that seemed like an obviously good idea.

Trick plays don't work when you are a bad team. Trick plays work because the other team has to devote 100% effort and manpower to stop your regular attack so getting them on the wrong foot is possible.
When they just sit in a base defense and cover all options, which is all you have to do against Arkansas, trick plays and misdirection isn't going to work.

Stein seems to be working out at UK. Granted, he stepped into a much better situation since Stoops was there forever and it's not like they were a shitshow.

Yeah I'm in the camp of hiring someone that has been a proben coordinator in their career. It doesn't always work out but it seems like a little safer option.

No mid-major coach on a semi decent trajectory would want our job either.
Look at Memphis's schedule - they'll sleepwalk to 10 or 11 wins this year. Silverfield would have done better to stay there, make hay on that 2026 schedule, and take a better job.
That guy that was at A-State after their succession of Freeze, Malzahn etc that ended up staying for a long time. That's basically what we hired. A guy that didn't build shit he just kept it in the road. He's being asked to do something here he was never asked to do there. It's one of the many reasons it was a terrible hire.
Also if you really want to know what we're doing I recommend checking out Power Hour.

How do we know that Silverfield was being patient and selective for his next gig? Maybe he tried other P4 openings for quite some time, we were just the first one to finally offer.
My gut is that Sexton (HY's agent) was pushing Silverfield because he knew that was Ryan's only chance at a massive payday.
I mean, if we were truly concerned with saving money we apparently could have hired the guy OSU took for a little over half what we're paying now. If nothing else we'd have a first round QB instead of the KJ and AJ show.
We are, as always, the home for Sexton's least employable clients. Apparently now it extends to ADs as well as coaches.
It's clearly apparent that we made the worst hire in the sec this year, but most likely the worst hire in all of fbs. There's no way HY can be allowed to continue to hire our future coaches. But even more important than that is nailing his replacement. I personally think, or would prefer, it be someone with Arkansas ties or roots. Never heard of this before. Practicing during games because your opponent isn't enough of a challenge is about the most disrespectful thing I've ever seen.
Razorback football setting new lows.

Agreed. That's akin to spitting on somebody. But when you suck so extremely bad, you just have to take it.
Kirby was very merciful Saturday. He threw the ball 12 times.
They treated it like a scrimmage, but make no mistake, could've hung 70.
He's a class dude.
We're favored against Tulsa by a touch. There's no way we're beating Tulsa Saturday night.
No way.
That could be a response to the snark from Silverfield about the Georgia football teams blotter report.
He could have had them doing sprints between plays just to stay warm.

We most likely beat Tulsa.
We also were not beating the spread against Georgia. Yet here we are.

We didn't.
Quote from: animal on Sep 20, 2026, 10:38 AMAs Carter power hour pointed out we're a screen team that cannot execute a screen against anybody because the lineman literally cannot get out there to lay down a block.
They work on it in practice and it works well against our defense, can't figure out why that doesn't translate to games.

Quite the conundrum. We've always defended the screen, qb run/option and tackled well in space.

You're right. The thought we did.
