Last year I was a dark sider with some passion.  Now I'm so dark side I am apathetic about the whole thing.  Which I think is beyond dark sider since I don't give a shit, have zero fucks for this program as long as Silly Putty is the coach.

6-6 b/c the D will keep them in most games but the O-line is still trash due to injuries and they will refuse to bench TG b/c donors paid too much just to get him.

6-6. A two-game improvement against this schedule will feel like more.

I was debating between 5-7 and 6-6 and went with 6-6. If we go 5-7 but we end the season similar to how Petrino's first team did, I'm fine with giving everyone another year to build on it, assuming we wouldn't have a mass exodus. You could see what he was trying to establish here by the end of 2008, and as long as we're doing that and can start winning close games, I'm good. After the last 10+ years I don't think I can be too picky.

I don't see a conference win.

But I'm feeling optimistic so I'll say 4-8.

With NIL, I think a mass exodus is going to be a given every year, regardless of our record

I am really really putting all of my money on Petrino turning Taylen into a Ryan Mallett/Tyler Wilson clone and having our offense resemble his offenses of the early 10's.  I'm also betting on TWill's defense.  And I'm very glad that Pittman has the opportunity to do more CEO coaching.  He did much better with Odom on the staff.  Last season was a combo of several things, many of which have been corrected going into 2024. 

So, when we're 3-3 to start the season, I'll recant.  LOL.

It's not sounding like Kutas is going to be healthy until he has some sort of major back surgery and I'm not sold on Harris so I would like to amend this to 4-8.   :thumbdown:
