I almost started this when I saw it was about an hour til tip and nobody had started one. Then I did a search for "Troy cheerleaders" and I, too, could not find anything decent.

Looked like Brazile rolled it pretty badly. Hope it's not too serious. He already had 4 points, 5 boards, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. He is playing well and with effort this year.
We don't seem overly interested in offensive rebounding despite ample opportunities .
They keep talking about what Aidoo did against the Hogs last year. Why don't they talk about what he did against other teams?

After watching that about the NOAH system, I wonder if we're trying too hard to shoot "perfect" shots instead of just playing and letting it go?

I'll say this-- the team does a pretty good job of defending at the basket. I don't know how many times I have seen layups/dunks/floaters rejected at the rim the last couple of games, including the game we lost. And they do it without fouling. Muss's team, or Mike's team, would have had 15 fouls each half tonight.
They did challenge a lot of shots at the rim. Still need work on switching defensively. Truly believed our shooting will come around.
What is Aidoo'd injury? Seems like we're fucked if he doesn't get right.
Right now I'm worried about Wagner, Aidoo, and Knox. Wagner has been great on defense but he needs to be a double digit scorer every night, Knox can't get into any kind of rhythm so far, and Aidoo can't stay on the court at all.
Thiero is emerging as our best player with Boogie being a close second. Davis started looking more like himself in the second half last night. Big Z will either give us a lot or nothing depending on the matchup game by game.

Wagner looks like he lacks confidence on offense, but he's probably the best defensive guard we've had since Nolan was on the bench.
This team may be the best defensive team we've had since the Nolan era.

Second half we shot 63.6% from the field and 66.7% from three. Our three point shooting has improved each game through the first three.

Yeah I'm sure Davis will continue to shoot 15% from three and Wagner probably won't make one all season. We'll see some positive regression without a doubt. This team isn't a great shooting team but they're not terrible either.

Our shots were banging off the front of the rim. Couldn't make two wide open dunks. Just throwing up bricks. Apparently, on the second half, we came around. Seems like we did the same thing against Baylor.

Said he told the coaches Z is going to have to put up 5-6 threes per game. Sure he shot well last night but where is that going to leave offensive rebounding, especially w/out any other bigs, if he's on the perimeter all game?
Also mentioned how weak Z is around the basket which made me happy. Hope it lights a fire.
