I have virtually no faith at this point and imagine that our postseason is going to consist of one & done on Wednesday night of the SECT.

But a win is a win and this one would be a win-plus. It would be the most Arkansas thing ever and feel eerily like beating #5 Tennessee in football last season after blowing the OSU and A&M games.

From the games of their's that I have watched, UK doesn't look like a top 12 team. Maybe Cal gets at least a half-chub for this one.

How are we feeling?

It would be the most Arkansas thing ever to be 12-8 overall and 1-6 in the SEC and go into Lexington and win.

nothing could be worse than then the moment Pel's 09-10 team was down 71-28 with 16:35 left at Rupp. 

I pray that history won't repeat itself.

Also, Rupp Arena might for the first time ever actually have more than 3 people stand up at the same time and make noise without fear of spilling their wine or dropping their cheese.

of all the arenas I went to during my time covering or traveling with the hogs, Rupp was about as rowdy as a movie theater on AARP night.

Hell, they still think Rick Pitino is going to return at some point and that Adolph Rupp wasn't a racist.

the KY Jellycats can suck it, suck it long, and suck it hard.

I fear the game will be about as enjoyable as Ashley Judd's acting which is not very enjoyable but maybe Morgan Freeman will show up and make it interesting but that's not likely going to happen.

My hope for Saturday is to actually see 2 different offensive sets that involve a screen or a hedge and movement without the ball. just make them actually work on the defensive end would be a very nice change of pace. Something to indicate they are doing something inside the Eddie Sutton Performance Gym that involves basketball as opposed to enjoying a catered meal of Razorback Nuggets and Tusk beer while wondering how the jellycat fans will react to Cal.

It goes without saying that Cal has never played on Wednesday at the SECT. With the addition of OU and Texas, there's now four games on Wednesday instead of just two night games.

I don't foresee a scenario where we finish 8th or better.

Remember 2 months ago being really hyped for this game?

Now I just want to crawl in a hole.


That said, if we only win one more game in the regular season, please make it this one. We're not doing jack this year. Winning at UK is as close to winning the natty as we're getting this season.
