Just bought Noah a new snowboard. Sounds like he is ready for the mountain.

fuck the snow...and good luck trying to go up to the mountains to snow. People are stupid and don't drive with proper chains or tires so they just create chaos. Anytime in the winter it on average takes 4 hours to get to breck, winter park, ect. I don't bother anymore unless it's during the week.

lisa fucking Hildago got this storm wrong. As of 5:30pm it's barely snowing and streets are clear. I swear these people get it wrong every time.

Don't know if they still do, but they used to run a passenger train from Denver to Winter Park just for day tripping skiers.  It's not a very long ride because the train goes through/under the mountains through the Moffat tunnel.  The west portal is literally in the middle of WP, and walking distance to Mary Jane.

When we lived there they were awful.  We were supposed to get 6 inches. I flew to LA for a meeting.  But the time I got to the hotel Denver got 2 feet and by morning it was 4 feet.  Shut the city down.  Airport was shut down for almost a week.

We were in Estes about 6 years ago for spring break with the girls and the night before we left coming home, it snowed 36" in Denver I think.  Swahili will remember.  We left Estes and took a two lane road out of Windsor for about 80-100 miles east and then went south to hit 70 somewhere west of limon.  There were drifts on 70 over the tops of cars, but they had two lanes open both ways.  When we got to Limon it was a lot shallower snow, like they might have gotten a few inches.

I lived in Longmont for a while and I remember how crazy the weather was in Colorado.

I actually saw  my first tornado while at Denver airport.
