I had to get a new liner last year.  I know they aren't cheap and I hope your insurance covers it. I had no idea that hail would shred one like that.

There are already folks knocking on doors in our neighborhood to do "courtesy inspections" of roofs.  I've seen several signs for a company called "Legit Roofing".  I started to see if the ink was dry on one.

Was getting those calls a few weeks ago in my hood. I told the guy to fuck off.

That company was out in the area the next day swapping out three year old roofs that had nothing wrong that i could see.

does a claim adjuster not come out first and see what's needed or call the roof company, they say what's needed or damaged and then wouldn't the adjuster still come out and have to agree to the damage

Insurance adjusters will always meet with the home owner prior to approving a claim.  .

That is why it is always a good idea to have a very skilled and qualified roofing company on your side before ever making a claim. 

Those two forces can argue the particulars.

Usually, but not always.  When the big hail storm blew through Hot Springs 2 or 3 years ago, Some insurance adjusters would just look at your address and say "ok, you need a roof".  Others would literally drive by and not get out of their vehicles  and say the same.

My pool is not huge- standard sized backyard rectangle. They had to rip out all of the old concrete decking and I had stamped concrete to replace it. I can't remember exactly how much the liner itself cost.

I knew when I bought the house that it needed a new liner. I figured it might cost $5k and then spend another $10k in concrete. It ended up being $60k.

Thanks.  We have an 18x36 rectangle and will need a new liner in the next couple of years.  I'm trying to get a ball-park figure so I don't have sticker shock when we have to actually pull the trigger.
