It is indeed "led-vile" and is also the highest incorporated town in America.  It's beautiful, and it's a mining town.  It's where the headwaters of the Arkansas river may be found.

I remember hearing about it when I worked in Frisco for a few ski seasons. Wanted to go visit, but not in the dead of winter. Heard there were some Doc historical references around town there.

Tombstone was a cool place to visit. Highly recommend it.
