Did anyone see the list comparing Acuff's stats to Cal's other guards?

His stats are the best by far, way better than SGA

One great thing about Cal is ESPN loves him.  They put him on tv every chance they get. Got to help on recruiting.
Apparently retarded member of the "fucking old people" crowd as defined by Swahili Steve.

Unless it was AI, Moser compared Acuff to AI in his postgame presser.

Not the only one I've heard make that comparison

Having this kind of talent... it's fun

Even if we get knocked out in the tourney if we keep getting see the SGAs and Acuffs of the world and play consistently good basketball (staying in the top 20) it'll be a fun ride the rest of Cal's career

personally i think derrick rose is the better comparison.

Yeah, he plays like Rose, solid and strong. Iverson out-athleted people on another level, the quickest man alive with a ball in his hands.

Coach sees what we all see in this team. He's trying all the tricks and coach speak to the media. It's not often you get a team that exudes this aura of championship potential. Throughout the years, we've had solid teams, however, those teams also had glaring vulnerabilities. This team, if they played their roles to their maximum abilities, is championship worthy.

He looks like something between Rose and Marbury...I think he's probably a bit stronger than both at least at the same age. This team needed another lockdown guard (Clint McDaniel) and another big that's got that dog in him.

Are these freshman stats or overall?

vegashog

i think ulis is the only guy on that list that wasn't one and done.

This is the coach who brought the "one and done" to college basketball so many used to complain about.

Lurk

Acuff is so good, it overshadows just how good Thomas is. He's moved himself into my top 5 all time hogs. Nobody shoots finger rolls and floaters any more and he just makes it look effortless. He reminds me of Reggie Miller.

Son of Spam

One thing I have noticed is that Richmond can jump out of the arena. He must have a 40" jump. I have seen his head either even with or over the net at times.
Well, shit...

He's built for the league. A hard worker with elite speed, has good handles and can jump out of the gym.

The Whyte Boar

It's amazing how many wide open layups Acuff gets after being guarded pretty well.  He just seems to glide then squirt to the basket for an open layup.  You just run out of superlatives talking about his game.

I've compared Acuff to Marbury and Thomas to Ray Allen. If you'll remember those two were drafted back-to-back (#4 & #5, respectively) and then traded for each other on draft night. Worked out better for the Bucks.

Acuff has a much better head on his shoulders than Marbury, though.
