OK, I'm not a Lebron fan but these shoes are fantastic.
Devin Booker, a Kentucky guy playing for the Suns wore these.  The are Nike Book 2 (a Lebron model) "PE" Personal Edition.  Not for retail.  Made just for Booker.
I like!   A lot.

pretty sure the book 1 and 2 are shoes nike designed for booker. the pe stands for personal edition. he's done it for a few other schools prior to the arkansas one. not a lebron model, his look completely different.

not a sneakerhead, i only know it because i had to look them up when i saw the picture of them last night. apparently a couple of the other teams shoes did get a limited run.

i've seen the staff wear these at times but in white:

The Book 2s are fairly new. He did a PE for KY as well. The Book 1s look better to me.

Has Cal forfeited 42 wins somewhere? ESPN crawl says 900 on-court wins, 858 official.

Doc Hogaday

To tie a couple threads that are going on together, Melvin Booker, who played on that 1993-94 Missouri team that we whipped the shit out of, is Devin Booker's dad. /csb

Yes, some UMass games b/c of Camby taking money, and some Memphis games b/c some academic scandal w/ Derrick Rose.

Alabama up 50-31 on Auburn at halftime. Looking like we'll be the 3 seed in the SECT.

It was just a few yrs ago around this time of year where we'd all be counting on our fingers how many more wins it would take and trying to formulate a way Arkansas could get in the tourney, if not outright winning the conference tournament. We may never win it all again, but it beats the crap out of being so bad the ncaa tourney was always in doubt.

It's good to be reminded of those times.

This prompted a google search about how Musselman and USC are doing:

Not a bad draw. Florida on the other side is the obvious advantage. Alabama & Oklahoma are the only teams on our side I think "they might beat us." With Acuff.

Mulling taking the 5-hour drive to Nashville.

We got KY and Florida playing so good, one of them will be gone.

If we get by Thursday, it won't matter though if we can't play vs Vandy any better than we did yesterday.

Did Ament not play yesterday? Is he coming back for the SEC Tournament?

He did not play. The color guy speculated that we won't see him again until the Dance.

I guess that is it.  I thought maybe Cal sent them to him but evidently they are his shoes.

Cal has to be extremely proud and gratified that his team minus Acuff, minus Knox, beat a good SEC team on the road.  That's an unexpected and satisfying win right there.

The Lord wants you to put your foot on their balls and believe in it. 'Cuz that's what wins football games. Not jumping offsides like a bunch of wimps and faggots. I don't care what those pinkos over in Russia say. You want to be a loser? You go live in Russia. I'm a winner. I'm an American.
