He has built/expanded upon a very successful baseball program who has just not won the big one.

When he's done, we probably get Vitello or Johnson as guys with ties to the program who have had success.  TV would take the job today I suspect as he seems already ready to quit in  SF. 

TV wouldn't take the job today for what we're willing to pay him. I agree with everything else.

Dave is paid more than Wes.  Would we compete in a bidding war?  No clue. 

A little surprised Dave is $50K lower than Butch but who knows with the add ons.

I think TV was making $3mm at Tenn.  

We will definetly have to step up to get a coach how has won a national championship but Wes is still maybe possible doable.  That could change in a few weeks.

Fuck integrity. I'm not getting any younger and it'd be nice to see us win another title in a major sport. We've done nothing but "do it the right way" and "integrity" and where has that gotten us? Meanwhile assholes like Saban, TV, Hurley, etc. are winning titles.

I've never had an issue with TV. People have issue with how he lets his kids behave. I'm an "act like you've been there" guy, but if having kids act like his players have gets us a title, he can borrow my pimp jacket.

i would have taken Diego Pavia over Taylen Green just because the douchebag was a winner.  He just found a way to win most of the time.  Taylen is a much nicer, Christian young man but I'm really not interested in my QB's church going history.  I need him to read coverage, make a play and get the ball out of his damn hands on time rather than taking another soul crushing sack at a critical moment.
