Thinking back on it, that's about when most of the admins started to bail. The deal with muzzy's secret board was because he wanted to take down oinkx. He thought he could bring a lot of those posters to the secret board and he did bring a few. It was just so dumb and so against what I thought woopig was. When the vibe of the board turned more conservative, the rest of them just faded away.

That's not how I remember it but all of those posts are long gone thanks to the former board owner...

I just remember Notas posted something that went over everyone's head as was often the case and at some point someone in P&R managed to spin it into something racist. I never believed that was ever anything that even crossed his mind, but I didn't know him personally so who knows. 

That was typical Woopig twisting what people say and then a dozen come in for the dog pile. He still posted after that but I don't think he was ever really the same and eventually just faded away. There may have been some other incident that I wasn't aware of...but whatever. He's gone. 

I vaguely remember in the admin forum my argument was something like we have to strike that balance between comedic value and racist. What was said if anything was meant to be funny and not racist but some people got their panties in a twist just to be offended. There were some admins that agreed and some that didn't. 

At that time I never really saw the board as left leaning or right leaning...it was just a board where anybody could make a complete ass out of themselves. If so they would be properly taken care of in the finest of woopig traditions.

When Steve took away his admin privileges it was such a hit to his ego that he quit posting and left Woopig. Imagine that, you take this message board shit so seriously that if you cant have admin privileges then you quit.
