I think one of our big problems is evaluating talent. We are not good at it.

I think there is that and then also getting said players to play like they give a shit. As a player, you can only control what you can control - attitude, effort and work ethic off the field.

This is undoubtedly true. We've gotten a few guys from Georgia in recent years, and the reality is maybe those guys were really third/fourth stringers there. Those guys' egos wanted to still say they were SEC players, so here they are.

If not we need to find a Cornrows, a HC having success at a smaller school. I don't even know if the job is that attractive now. With all the changes with paying players and NIl there may be a handful of schools with enough money to compete.

I'd take the Memphis coach, but we're going to struggle finding anyone. If I'm an up and comer, I wouldn't even interview at Arkansas. If I thought we'd throw 10mm at someone, I wouldn't be so onboard hiring Petrino. He is the best we could hope to get.

There really isn't a mid major coach that would be considered a great hire. Maybe Sumrall or Traylor, but neither of those get my piss hot.

You could go the coordinator route. You know Gus will be pandering for it. Briles probably will as well. Has Lunney done enough?
