Looks like he still just stands in one spot on the court.

I see Doug Shows there too.

I think he just called a foul on Arkansas.

YOUR welcome. That's when I started watching. 🥴

Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

Don't know if they showed it in TV, but Cal and Lindsay got nose to nose in the second half today.

tell us more.

I can't recall the play before, but Cal didn't like the call. He was giving it to Lindsay as he was walking towards him. They were both jawing face to face. Assistants had to pull him back.

I feel like it was the foul called on Pringle against Tanner, but I may be wrong. Anyway, they did show Brewer holding him back on TV after whatever play it was.
Pants ironed and back for more

This is a big fucking deal. We get to hang an SEC championship banner which we haven't done in over a quarter century. I woke up less than optimistic figuring we would Arkansas this. We didn't. This is all about leadership. This is what being serious about a sport (even if the only one who was is a rich razorback fan) looks like.  We are downright lucky to have Calipari. It feels so good to have some competence in charge. We are so fortunate that he kept Brazile on campus to finish his career. That young man played the game of his life today. There aren't enough accolades for Acuff. This just feels pretty damn good right now.

I have gone to a lot of SEC tournaments.
Today made it all worth it.
This team played its ass off for the past three games.
I think we are a Sweet Sixteen team but not sure about more than that.

Even so, Thank you for this week.  It was glorious.
Oak Grove in the house.

Upon further further review, the flagrant call against Nick Pringle was the worst call of the year.

Apparently, everyone else is also bitching about their refs. Welcome to sports.

But there's absolutely something to be said for college basketball referees, and it's concerning. Some of these guys are clearly 2+ steps behind the game. It just happens too fast for their old eyes and brains. Sure, at one time Doug Shows was an expert of the game, but these days there's 3-5 calls a game that are just reactionary, and it's not just with Shows.

I dont know what the answer is because we can set up an AI strike zone to challenge an umpire, but that doesnt work in basketball. But some of these refs should've gone to the house 5 years ago. So maybe the answer is some new blood. Younger refs, and ones who arent tryna make a name for themselves.

Refs/Umps should be forced to do post game press conferences like players and coaches. They are part of the game. May or may not make them better, but if they make a call that is questionable, they at least know they will get hammered with questions about it post game.

It was such a bad call that it was being talked about by random non-Arkansas fan guys at the gym in downtown Houston Texas this morning.
