I've turned to a darksider on Schottenheimer.  He makes dumb decisions trying not to be Martyball.  End of Ravens game, the long FG at end of 1st half of Texans game, going for two instead of making it a 7 point game.  It doesn't end. 

Who is his o line coach?  4 of his o line play at a probowl level. But they can't block as a unit for shit in run or pass. Has 5 solid WRs and 2 solid TEs and they can't get open or can't catch.  Then the defense: what a disaster. No pressure, no coverage.  Let's Parker run a complex scheme that doesn't fit his players. A rookie qb on a shit team and he gets zero pressure.  Should have been blitzed with 9 all game. 

I truly believe Jerry made a deal with Satan after Jimmy left to win a ring without him.  Well one year in between in 95 doesn't take the credit from Jimmy. And I think the drought will continue at least til he dies.  Jerry has had several SB capable teams in this period only to collapse in the playoffs.  It's nearly demonic.

I liked Schottenheimer at first.  Even though they were terrible last year it was kind of a breath of fresh air after watching Fat Nutt squander so many talented teams. 

This year he's made the wrong call on nearly everything it seems.  The team is far more talented than they're showing, whereas last year it felt like they met or exceeded expectations.
