It serves a purpose for municipal purposes, games with UCA/ASU, HS games, etc. 

It's just past time to quit playing Ark games there.

That being said for a very, very long time attendance would dictate playing the games in LR instead of on campus. It was a big deal when we finally had more seats in Fayetteville than LR after the big expansion.

Razorback Stadium didn't have lights until 1990, so up until then if we wanted to play a night game it had to be in Little Rock.

I figure UALR will push for a football program within the next decade and WMS will be their home.

Didn't they just throw around the idea of playing football at UALR and it was denied because the cost was too high?  If so, would they really try to start that conversation again so quickly?

If they could play somebody for $1 mil and sell 20k tickets for $25 with 4 home games, they can gross $3 mil. I bet they could get a competent coach for $150k.

I tried a quick google search and didn't find much for recent salaries, but the lowest paid SunBelt coach in 2019 was paid $360K.  There's no way they are going to find anyone to be a FBS college head coach for $150K.

That was definitely considered-- in the last couple of years if I recall correctly. 

Unless a significant group of LR area big wigs-- I mean with real money-- gets behind it, I don't see it ever happening.
