Well, we run the athletic department like making revenue is the point instead of winning.  He has done a good job at that probably.  We are a cheap school.  We can't get out of our own way.

If Urban Meyer called us tomorrow and said, "My golf buddy, John,  has talked me into it. I'll coach Arkansas but I need $15 million a year."  We wouldn't do it.  Nevermind that a coach like that with the excitement and winning he would bring would be worth twice that.  No, we'd worry we couldn't pay him and worry about Silverfield's buyout and all that.

So, our NIL budget is always going to be a year behind everybody else. This retardation is reaching galactic proportions. If Silverfield came here and immediately started working his ass off getting donations to only be told, "Teehee, this money will go towards 2027. Thanks for helping the U of A look fiscally responsible", then I actually feel bad for him. If this is Razorback Football Armageddon, then I hope Bo and Chuck get caught in the whirlwind. Both dipshits have been net negatives for the program and both fucking suck. The day Paul Eels died was tragic because we lost a good radio play by play guy, and it sentenced us to decades of Chuck Barrett. I have never listened to a Razorback Football game on the radio since Paul died.

I'm not sure I buy that, given that last year Cal allegedly told some prospective donors that he had enough, so they should give it to other sports.

I find it hard to believe they couldn't travel to see recruits. I know at one point we had a pretty large expense for recruiting travel. Like top 10 nationally. Also spent more on athlete nutrition than anyone else. We need a forensic account of every dollar.

I don't know, I could if the statements about RS not being able to use money he had raised in December on NIL because we had already budgeted NIL this year are true.

Not that Sam and Petrino couldn't visit recruits at all but that maybe HY made them rigidly adhere to a budget and once it was used wouldn't allow any adjustments so that maybe there were some recruits we got in on late or who needed some additional visits who went unvisited because HY wouldn't turn loose of the company card.
