On his game film review this morning, Carter the Power (who's normally pretty Hog sympathetic) calls Arkansas the worst SEC team ever.

So, we got that going for us.

Silverfield was a Christmas Eve snatch the last toy left on the shelves hire and is obviously in over his head but the rot of this football program goes much higher up the chain.

I would bet the chancellor would have already fired the ad a couple years ago if the board would let him, but those 4 ad supporters on the board have kept the warranted pink slip at bay which is so puzzling because if the athletic department was their business involving their money they would have made the move long ago.

How much longer does the board review take when it is so obvious?

Fine with HY publicly stating Arkansas isn't supporting the football program enough to pursue a national championship

Fine that HY was wrong about and late to adapt to NIL putting us at a significant competitive disadvantage.

Fine that the stadium has been unnamed for 2 years. Fine that while HY can save a penny here or there, clearly has difficulty finding new money. Fine he apparently sucks at establishing relationships and selling the program

Fine HY extended Sam to a sweetheart second contract, the latter being zero sought after and had zero leverage

Fine that HY fumbled the first options of hiring a successful football coach in now both past 2 coaching searches, settling for options best described as unenviable.

Fine that HY hired a coach with the most resources in the AAC conference and never won or I think even appeared in the championship game

Silverfield I'm not convinced is THE issue. I think like we've seen in the past he didn't fully understand what he was walking into. He brought a cheap Chinese pocket knife to a rocket fight and we're all like...win bitch.

If he didn't fully understand what he was getting into, that is fine.  That is on HY.

RS has had enough time to adapt.  He is 100% a major part of the problem as he can't coach at this level.  It is clear as day.

His lack of coaching during games is mind boggling. Saban would have had an aneurysm if he had 12 guys on the field for a FG attempt. QB threw a pick, Kiffen would have pulled him aside and told him he's retarded and he's gonna bench him if he can't unretard himself. Our coach is having a staring contest with the other sideline.

It's not a bad strategy...take the life changing money. Do fuck all for a couple seasons...get that bag of buy out money for the next years. At worst he's back coaching Sun Belt in 4 years or retired early from the trauma of having to coach stand on the sidelines for Arkansas.

I'll say, this last decade+ has been great for my blood pressure during football weekends.  I'm not anxious before the games and not really stressed during the games and not high or upset after the games.  Just meh.......all weekend.  Win or lose.  No real hope or optimism and not really upset either. 

When Petrino was coach, I would be so on edge before the games I couldn't stand it starting about Wednesday and then during the game, I would be yelling and so into it, I would feel like I played in the fucking game by the time it was over.  Then if we won, the dopamine hit would last until the middle of the next week and if we lost, I would be in a shit mood and pissed off all fucking week.  It felt GOOD though, but it was a rollercoaster.  This...nothing.  No peaks, just allllll valley.

I scroll on my phone for most of the game.  I admire the folks who actually go to the games.  Especially the ones who go to the away games.
