What's with play calling nowadays? It's either all behind first down marker or Hail Marys. I don't get it.

Clemson needs a TD.  On 3rd and 1 the QB pulls the handoff and throws a screen for a 1 yard loss.  On 4th and 2 he stares down his receiver and gets the pass tipped.  Shipley got one touch in OT.
