The only coaches who've been fired here with less than five years are Petrino (who was wrongly terminated but not for on field reasons) and Morris. We kept a barely functional retard around for ten years, including back to back losing seasons in years 7-8.   We are more patient than most schools, especially given the lack of results. 

If Franklin does poorly enough here to get fired after three years he doesn't deserve another crack at P4 coaching, and he wouldn't win at VT either.

I guess my issue with what you said is that it seemed to imply we would hold Franklin to a higher standard than any other of his suitors.  The things you said above about impatient boosters will apply anywhere...and most places on our level or above seem to be even less patient.
