If they can beat Georgia they can beat Michigan.  Sure Michigan might try to wear down Alabama with that power run game, but while they do that they'll have to deal with Bama actually knowing how to throw the ball... as long as the Heisman-quality version of Milroe shows up instead of the one who should be wearing a padded helmet and writing with crayons.

Washington and Texas could be good.  I like Washington in that one.  If they ball out like they did against Oregon then I like them a lot.  Could be a shootout.

Leaving out Alabama would've been tough. Leaving out Florida State would've been a travesty. But the committee picked the travesty and told FSU that a perfect season, capped off with a power-conference championship on Saturday night, was not good enough to compete for the national title. FSU finished fifth, while Bama took the fourth spot and will play Michigan in a Rose Bowl semifinal on New Year's Day. In spurning the Noles, the powers that be crossed an explicit rubicon. They told teams at the highest level of the sport that winning football games is less important than looking like you will win football games.

ESPN deleted their Strength of Record rankings that showed FSU leading that stat among CFP candidates.  Also, instead of calling Georgia the 6th place team ESPN has them tied with FSU for 5th.

Here's another, cynical way to view why Florida State got left out. It makes some intuitive sense. They're not in the two cool kids' clubs. I don't know why this graphic has them at number 4 when they came out at number 5 in the playoff decision.
