According to this, it was a designed run up the middle which is exactly what I told my wife they would run.  It had been successful several other times last night.

I agree for a lot of QBs there was time to get that pass out there.  Quick/quality decisions don't appear to be his thing.

It was primarily successful when they ran a receiver in jet motion. The Michigan linebackers all kept falling for that decoy. This last play didn't have that.

I just read an article from "The Athletic".  I'm sure I' late to the party, but I had no idea that Ben Herbert was Michigan's S&C coach, and also an Associate Head Coach.  Harbaugh calls him "the best hire I've ever made".
