bert did something like that to ohio st on kick offs some years ago except it was committing illegal motions. at that time, the clock would keep running until the play was dead.

If the defense is still subbing and the official is standing over the ball, the play clock should be stopped. To keep it running is BS. The offense can't run a play as long as the official is over the ball. And fuck Bert.
