Semifinals; 27-24 Notre Dame victory; it looked bleak for the longest time; Riley Leonard threw two pics but was gritty and kept them in it. Post-game, on-field interview:

Sportsbabe: "Riley, y'all were down at halftime. What did coach say to you?"

Riley: "He said history is written by the conquerors and we're holding the pen. And we wanted to write our history. I'm a firm believer in whether you think you can, or cannot do something, you're right. We believed that we could do it, and we went out there and did it."

Sportsbabe: "What changed offensively, so that you guys could start moving the football in the second half?"

Riley: "Shoot, I just started trusting the Lord, I looked up and I said Jesus, whatever your will is for my life I trust it 100%."

Sportsbabe: "You're about to play in the national championship game. What does that mean to you?"

Riley: "Well, it doesn't feel real. I shouldn't be the one on the microphone right now. I didn't do my part tonight, but these guys did and they carried me through the entire game. Whenever there was a second of doubt coming into my mind, I had somebody coming up to me and telling me that they believed in me...so, to be here on this stage, we're going to enjoy it. We've got one more left though."

I had to pull for ND last night which was bad. Tonight, I will pull for Ohio State because I hate Texass that much. And after saying that, I threw up in my mouth a little. I do not want Texass to win it all or have a chance to win it all in their first year in the SEC. And by having a chance, I mean make it to the final game. So, TUCK FEXAS as long as I live.
