The guy also hasn't really coached in the portal/NIL era, which dominates the college football landscape now. It's a completely different game from when he was overachieving at State.

traylor and chadwell's arc are a little on the downside.

the guys at usf or tulane, if they're not snatched up after this season, would be worth talking to.

i personally don't think hiring another coordinator after sam is the right move.
