To officially form a committee to research the research being done on the football program as to why it's substandard. Unofficially it's to laugh all the way to the bank since we are no doubt orderly and proficient.

Everyone keeps saying well every other program is in debt and we aren't. Well we aren't winning so I don't fucking care. Stop charging out of state tuition to every fucking kid.
Yep. I'm not trying to be a dick about it. It could have lived. It didn't. Not by my choice. -Elvis

I'll start caring about our debt position when I see evidence that the conferences or the media networks will ever let any of their cash cows fail.  It seems to me that before ESPN or the SEC would let one of their programs go bankrupt they would find a way to bail them out.

We've been talking about how the flood of money into sports from the networks was going to create a bubble that would eventually burst for over twenty years now.  I'm sure it will happen at some point, but let's cross that bridge when we get there.

Our administration seems to not understand the concept of putting money out as a investment on which you hope to get a return, or that their programs are a valued asset that go up or down based on their on-field (court) success or failure.  I guarantee you that waiting two years plus to fire Sam Pittman cost us a hell of a lot more in brand value and investment needed to recoup it than the $5 million or so we saved by not firing him after 2023 at the latest.  Going cheap on rosters and falling behind programs that are historically beneath ours like Ole Miss, Missouri, Miss State, South Carolina, Vandy, and Kentucky is likely costing us even more.

But hey...we paid off that stadium expansion early (at a time when interest rates were far lower than the cost of borrowing more if needed).

Asses missing in the seats is the only way to solve this.

tell tell everyone that our goal going forward is 5 SEC wins

How common do special meetings have to get before they aren't really "special" but merely "irregular"?

BoT comes out of executive session.  Extended contract for UAM Chancellor lol.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar when his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Does a "special" session warrant this or is this more blatant contempt as they troll  us?

I hate retiring numbers, but the RB wearing 5 on this years team has no business with it on his back.

I don't hate the practice of retiring numbers as much as seeing teams overdo it.

Adding McFadden to the limited number we already have retired...Moncrief, Burlsworth, Corliss (even if unofficial)...is more than deserved.

Most of those plays are not the wildcat.  They are the McFadden.

should have named the formation after him

AD Nutt will make sure to bring the WildHog offense back - the same one they ran with Matt Jones lol. He'll also retire #5 so he can say two numbers were retired thanks to his players.  With luck we might even make it back to the Music City Bowl one day.

Everyone always says " Fuck Nutt." So from now on, his name will officially be "FUCKNUTT".

How have McFadden & Todd Day not had their numbers retired?

With Day it makes sense...we've had so many 10s who have done well that it works as a reward for our best player.
