This is true.  And it's particularly devastating due to OU and Texas coming aboard for the next coach.  We will have a tough sell to coaches (see Lincoln Riley) wanting to advance in the profession.  That's just the reality. 

We really couldn't afford to miss, especially the Chad hire, but alas, we did.

So they are moving DJ over to tightend I hear or letting him work at TE...maybe looking at him as a H-back role in an offense that suddenly hasz no Hasz.

Gumms and that guy from Louisville haven't done shit at TE. Washington is a no show. Bax is not good.

We can shit on him all we want, but losing Knox hurt.

We shouldn't have had to rely on a true freshman to be our only receiving threat headed into a season.

We went from a WR/TE corps of Landers, Ketron, Haselwood, and Knox to a couple of D2 WRs  and a true freshman TE (who's been excellent but is unfortunately now hurt so our TE prospects are markedly worse).

Every scrimmage we had in the spring and fall Sategna caught at least one bomb but now they won't even put him on the field. Add in that KJ's best attribute as a passer might be his deep ball and it makes even less sense.

The lack of throwing deep is mind blowing.

Enos' passing game reminds me of the Nutt years.  Three things happen when you throw the ball and two are bad.  Or something like that.

Every pass is a 3-5 yard out right at the sideline or something in the flat or a slow developing 7 yard drop back.  When we do go over the top, it usually has success.

Enos has not developed an offense that takes advantages of what we do well; which is roll KJ out and give him the option to scan the field and throw or run.
