We don't need an old guy whining about nil and the portal unless it's Saban.  Otherwise young aggressive and smart is what we need who is involved.  Sam said he doesn't go to the defensive rooms much and won't now.  He admitted he hadn't been that involved with the o.  His let the coaches coach approach is an excuse for lazy.

I think he had the right idea initially...hire coordinators and let them do their jobs.  What he misses is the part where the CEO coach provides oversight, identifies problems and offers possible solutions.

I'm warming up to him a little bit.  He seems to be a good combination of recruiting ability and strategy.  Meyer gave him a lot of credit for the offenses he had early on at Ohio State.

He weirdly got fired after a pretty good 7-3 COVID year.
