It's a lot easier to find the next Muss than the next Van Horn.

We need to stop looking for coaches with an Arkansas connection (Nutt, Mike Anderson, etc) and just go find the best coach available.

I actually trust Hunter to do just that.

Nobody wanted to come here last time around the way Morris left the program, and in hindsight Pittman was a solid move when he had extremely limited options.

I keep hearing suggestions like Odom, etc and I don't understand it at all.

I don't see Hunter hiring a Morris.

like was already posted, unless he goes 0-4 he'll be back if he wants.

next month is the last of morris's buyout and it's less than $200k. the issue is unless they go the cheap up and comer route, any proven coach will have to be bought out in addition to a contract that will be for at least what pittman is making.

To my knowledge we have never had a head football coach move on somewhere else for bigger/better/more money. It's never happened. NEVER. NEVER EVER JIMMY FUCKING SEXTON!!! 

We have bent over backwards to give stupid extensions, buyout enhancements, raises all around like Oprah giving out free cars for average at best results. This transcends athletic directors we've been doing this for ages.
