There's some argumentative types on here (yeah imagine that), but from what I've been reading, I just want to say this and hang up.

I  have plenty of displeasure with the season and with the coaching job of Pittman. But the guy's not a piece of shit. It's the most boomer of takes to expect him to walk away from contractually obligated money because he "loves the helmet". No one else here would do any different.

It just isn't working now and it's time for a change, but let's call the real POS's as they are.

He is a lazy piece of shit.  He has said repeatedly that if he embarrasses the program players school state fan he would leave.  I'd say he's a big embarrassment. 

Not saying he should retire with nothing.  I have said HY should hold the mitigation effort over his head so that he knows if he wants all the money, he will be fired and he will have to get a shitty position job somewhere.  Or he can negotiate an out package, say for $10 mill, paid over time, and go to the lake and have a nice life.

He is a lazy inept coach.  His teams play like it.  He's not a coordinator.  He's a walkaround coach.  His focus position o line is a fucking mess.  He doesn't, by his admission, go to position meetings.  Fucking Nick Saban remains the de facto DB coach at Bama.  He tolerates a grabass entitled coaching ecosystem that has zero professionalism by men making hundreds of thousands of dollars, who know Sam will not fire them out of "loyalty" though he doesn't hold them accountable.  Our WRs run lazy simple routes; that dude is our OC. 

Sam can eat a bag of dicks.  I would have fired him and held his feet to the mitigation requirements, had I had the funds to do it.

Arkansas AD Hunter Yuracheck confirmed that head coach Sam Pittman would be returning to Fayetteville ins 2024. This season hasn't turned out how the Hogs had hoped, but Pittman is still an excellent coach and a great culture fit for the Razorbacks.
As Texas A&M continues to look for a new head coach, AD Ross Bjork has stated "The expectation is we should be competing for a national championship." If that's the expectation, then whoever is next is setup to fail in College Station. Getting back to 10 wins should be the starting point, something the Aggies have done twice in the past 20 seasons.

He said that when he fired Enos.  "I'm going to start going to position meetings and also help Guiton with planning the offense" not exact quote but you can watch the presser.  He also said he doesn't ever go to defense meetings.  So wtf do you do Sam? 

He's not involved with the team except rah rah sessions.  Which indicates laziness. If he's involved in the meetings and hands on, then he's just inept.  Shitty either way.  As a career assistant he has this structure of delegating responsibility to them and stays out of their business as he probably hated folks like Kirby Smart interrupting his Angry Birds game.  His issue is over loyalty and not holding them accountable.  Again, is that laziness or ineptitude.  Doesn't matter the results are the same. Loser.

Something I just saw on insta from @razorbackfb. I had no idea Brandon Allen, Dan Skipper, and Jason Peters were still on rosters. I double checked and Allen is indeed one of three active QBs on the 49ers roster.
