Tennessee, LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas, all in Fayetteville, all with at least a week between them.  For someone that has to drive 4+ hours to every game, that is just great.  None of those 3 week in a row stretches.

Now if we can just be competitive.

Overall I like the schedule.

Two bye weeks is nice, one before LSU and one before Texas.

Two true road games in our first six contests, then a bye,  then only one road game before we get our second bye, then only one road game again in the final three games.

Pittman will make or break his career in the first six games. Got to win all three home games in that stretch, with only Tennessee being the challenge. Then, even winning just one of the three non home games would be big. We'd be 4-2 and sitting ok with only two away games left.

6-6 is doable, 7-5 is possible, and 8-4 is not insane to imagine if Bobby still has some magic left in the tank

Okie St is a biggie. Win that, then win 2 of the 3 out of Aub, Aggie and Tenner and you have 5 right there going into the 1st open date. It usually takes Gundy several weeks to figure out his team, so getting them in week 2 is a bonus.

Kennedy beats us out for a portal OL. Former RB from central commits to OU without even giving us a visit. Things are going swell!

Without big money or wins, we ain't signing any studs. Unfortunately, we have neither.

Okie St is a biggie. Win that, then win 2 of the 3 out of Aub, Aggie and Tenner and you have 5 right there going into the 1st open date. It usually takes Gundy several weeks to figure out his team, so getting them in week 2 is a bonus. 

He started out 2-2 this year if that's what you mean but he usually starts out fast and falters at the end.  5-0 to start the season in 2022, 6-0 to start the season in 2021, and 4-0 to start the season in 2020 (all conference covid schedule).

That will be a tough second game of the season on the road.  I agree it can't get much easier though.  Replacing LSU and Ole Miss with Vandy and South Carolina would be nice.

Not necessarily.  On the show last night they stated that all games for that week are listed for Saturday, but games may be shifted to Thursday (Ole Piss and Piss State) and Saturday.

Yeah, they should have scheduled OU and Missouri for Thanksgiving weekend and given us LSU.

Not necessarily.  On the show last night they stated that all games for that week are listed for Saturday, but games may be shifted to Thursday (Ole Piss and Piss State) and Saturday.

Like they do every single year. Even when LSU was our final regular season game.
