The loot is an easy scapegoat but everyone knows we either have a lame duck coach or we're just not serious about football anymore.

Maybe the catfish has gotten bad or they just don't appreciate fine hushpuppies.  I talked to a farmer from Canada when he made the journey to Memphis last week for some unknown but probably stupid reason.  The catfish he had tasted like "muddy water".  He now has an open invitation to come back down to East Arkansas.

I hope all of those folks who said we should keep a lame duck coach and give him another year are happy. I know I explained to them all exactly what was going to happen.

1. Players were going to portal out.
2. No (or certainly not enough) good players were going to portal in.
3. High school recruits would be decommitting.

Therefore, there was no need to keep him. I have no idea what they thought giving him another year was going to accomplish. Other than the loser mentality of: "Who are we going to hire? Who wants to come HERE"?

Yurachek has botched his management of the football program entirely.  He can GTFO.  Hiring Bobby was a nice Hail Mary, but it doesn't fix the problems we have, as evidenced by the portal results this year.
