We lost a commit.  Who apparently was never very committed.  And that's Pittman's fault?

In this day and time, it's a constant occurrence at any school.  Let's see what shakes out.

Ultimately, yes he is the head coach and recruiting is one of the reasons he got the job. I don't think it is unfair to expect good results for 6 mill a year. Losing highly rated recruits, when you don't have that many to begin with, is not a recipe for success in this league.

maybe so, not so sure these days.  What if we got outbid?  I really don't like the system that we now have, to the extent that it is a system.  But what if we have a number, say 100k, assigned to a slot this kid fits in and someone comes along and says "We will give you 200k". Is that Pittman's fault?  I hate this shit.

It's a little worse when we lose a signee rather than a commitment. 

Probably more a factor of his position coach leaving than anything else.

I suspect it is going to be very difficult to recruit or way out of this until we show some signs of improvement or momentum. 

Think 2008 to 2009 type thing where we weren't there, but you saw we were going to be punching some taints soon.  We need something like that or recruiting is going to be very hard, no matter how much $$ we have.

Everybody, including myself, hope that is the case with BMFP back, however he is not the head coach. If Lasso Tits screws it up on the sidelines, we will have a harder hill to climb.

Hopefully Tits at least gives full and complete control of the offense to Petrino.  If not, it will be a disaster.

Petrino is going to have to turn chicken shit into a real nice chicken shawarma with mostly the same players we had last season with Enos.

We may figure to have a decent defense and can maybe win games with more of a game manager style on offense

I don't know if even Prime BMFP could turn this shitshow around without having total control of the program.  We are just too easy to recruit against right now.
