Bobby meanwhile gave Jimbo the best offensive year he had at A&M even with one hand tied behind his back. Sam won't handicap Bobby like Fisher did, so I have high hopes.

I mean, is it unrealistic to think that BP would be worth an extra touchdown per game if he had been our OC last year?  I don't think so.  Sounds pretty realistic. 

If we had an extra TD per game last year we win 7 games and have two ties.  Win just one of those and we're talking 8 wins and everything is completely different.

We ain't Bama but then again for us to win only four we have to be comically bad.  Just a little improvement gets us to solidly mediocre trending towards good.

BMFP might not be the BMFP of old, but the bar ain't that high.

That's pretty much ignoring that some teams could have scored at will against us had they wanted to. No doubt Bobby might have been worth a couple two or three wins maybe more though.
