Picked up a JUCO RB....Tyrell Reed from Hutchinson CC. I'm probably talking out of my ass here but Arkansas may be among the few hella legit P5s to take JUCOs at all.

The guy was productive as a freshman and seems to fit that profile as a Dennis Johnson type guy. The FSU transfer is a little leaner and taller I think.

spring football was so far off the radar - what were the takeaways from the spring and does it even matter now that everyone can portal in or out before fall camp?

How will Sam be a better game manager, is he going to Clock Camp or anything similar?

I would love for Bobby to park it on the sideline that way the camera will pan over to him every time Tits Pittman fucks the dog on a critical in-game decision. I fear he'll be stuck in the booth out of the limelight.

Sam has too much pride to be a defacto OL coach.

Not only does he not want to micromanage the OL coach he has, his pride won't let him take that "demotion."

He supposedly spent an ass load of time with the OL in the spring along with the new OL coach. Pittman either legit hired Bobby or he was jammed in on him because he can't make decisions. I know which way I'm leaning but in any case I think Pittman has embraced it for what it is. That gives me some hope he'll get the fuck out of the way. I don't think ego is going to be a huge issue here. The next time you'll see ego enter into the fray is if/when we get to a Texas bowl or something and then Titts will push everyone out of the way to call dem Hogs. That'll be followed by Petrino taking a head coaching job somewhere...

Pittman made comments to Finebaum the other day about Bobby already knowing a lot of the big donors which has been a huge help TO HIM. Bobby brings credibility and that opens wallets. 

Clearly this money drive is really key to them. It's going to be a bad look if they keep blaming their woes on lack of money to pay off players but it is what it is. If we want to be a 6 or 7 win program then we'll get that level of donations. Seems to be a lot of pressure on the regular fans to come thru with all this but I'm sure they know which money trees to shake on the tour thru Arkansas.
