My last WMS experience was the Sugar Bowl play-in game.  It was perfect.

I don't plan to ever step inside WMS for a football game again.

I woke up this morning much more optimistic about the season.

1) because I'm an idiot
2) because per Trey Biddy, Sam is leaving the offense purely in BMFP's hands*, he's leaving the defense purely in Travis Williams's hands, and Sam has spent a ton more time coaching the o-line, which I guess is an asterisk** to BMFP purely running the offense
3) because I'm an idiot

The Oklahoma St. game will be a huge harbinger.

i don't think a bad 4-8 team with 11 returning starters and a new qb playing a top 20 team on the road in the 2nd game of the season will necessarily be a indicator on what type of year we have.

i think okie st wins handily but unless there's a complete quit, i won't be ready to totally let go of the rope at that point.

Sam does not have a good track record of bouncing back after loses. If we get beat by the Pokes badly, we may quit against UAB. Doubtful, but it could happen.

I tend to agree but their defense was horrendous last year and they all returned. We also get them at the right time. Unfortunately, the mullet can coach circles around Pittman.
