I like Green. He's had some serious WTF easy throws but the big plays with his legs especially have made up for it. I think too much messing with his mechanics has caused that. Hopefully we see some improvement. Our WR's dropping balls combined with his miscues, have sucked to watch though. We're 3-1 and haven't executed like we all know they can. Theres promise to get over the 6 win hump.

Eventually Green is going to figure out to stop throwing towards Broden, or BMFP is going to stop running 5 out there.   That will remove 5 or so incompletions per game. 

I've repeatedly called Green the black Matt Jones, but I think I like the Notae comparison better.

Hell, I'm no Teslaa fan but put him in there. He can't run or separate but at least he can catch the damn ball when it's thrown to him.

5 doesn't need to see the field anymore. He's soft as hell and straight up quit on some routes today.

KJ needed a change is what it amounts to and I don't know that Petrino wanted to come in and "fix him"...Enos' failure there I think told Petrino some things because despite what people think Enos is not the worst OC/QB coach to grace the planet. KJ fits that Cam Newton offense much better but dude is damaged goods and I figure he'll get beat up in the Big 12 just like he was in the SEC perhaps to a lesser degree.

Green is really raw...kinda reminds me of a Josh Dobbs type that is gonna be boom or bust. If that kid goes to Missouri State and takes to the Petrino training much sooner he might be in the league right now.

I still would.  I think Green has a ton of upside, but he has this bad habit of regressing in his throwing motion, especially under pressure.  I'm also afraid that the game is just too fast for him, he throws late consistently.  We have the perfect play dialed up, receiver open, and he waits to see it unfold.  He also seemed to be leading our WRs into a kill shot over and over yesterday.  Perhaps that is where some frustration comes from?  He has the tools and COULD be a killer... he's just managing to NOT be.

Green looks raw and doesn't trust the system or the WRs to be where they are supposed to be.  Every pass is a second or two late.  Many of the Bobby P offense patterns require the ball to be thrown just before or as the receiver comes out of his break.  Mallett was fantastic at that.  Green doesn't have Ryan's cannon of an arm and can't be late.  He is throwing suicide passes for his WRs because he is late.
His running is elite, and they leaned on that yesterday, especially early.  If (and that is the big question) he can get the system down and release the ball earlier, this offense will go.

Green has another year of eligibility. Having a good enough year to get to a bowl may being a little momentum heading into next year. Another offseason with Petrino would be really good for him.

I know many on here want Pittman fired but I don't think that is the best option looking 1-2 years out. Best case is Pittman wins enough to meet his satisfaction and rides off into the sunset. He has made that statement before but actually doing it is another story. Easier said than done.

TG's legs are a great weapon and a massive headache for opposing DC's but, sooner or later, he's gonna get broken if he doesn't learn to slide.
