I just watched the Hog Pod interview Mattingly did with JQJ.

I just find it so hard to "root for" or you know, celebrate Bo.  Goes back to 1998 and the whole Todd Latourette fiasco that cost us the SEC West title.

I didn't know or remember (or care at this point) about his role in that deal. I would think the guy who actually got the DUI would share a slice of the blame. But Nutt would've blown it anyway. He wouldn't have been able to sneak up on Tennessee in the SECCG rematch.

But anyway, my reaction was about the story of the guy, not the one who helped the guy tell it.

Sam lucked into a big win and sat his ass down.  Obvious there was a fall break for the kids to enjoy their momentous victory instead of getting them refocused on business and putting extra work into LSU. Sam is coaching as if he's been already told next season is guaranteed.  Laziness, ineptitude, sloppiness, on full display by the coaches and players tonight; a rare chance in prime time to showcase the program as turning around. He said "I don't know" several times in the press conference. It's just one of the worst sounding things coming from the face of the program. 

I was suckered in, primarily because we came back from that deficit in the 4th quarter against Tennessee, something we had not done under his watch. But in my mind, the credit belonged primarily to the coordinators.

They were likely told to ease up on the kee-ids during the bye week. So we came out and got punched in the throat and never regained our breath.

Yurachek has always been just a less socially awkward Jeff Long.

He's a clown who spends more time focusing on social media theatrics and less time holding his coaches accountable. 

With any luck we'll have both a new football coach and a new AD by Christmas.

T-will had his knob polished for 2 weeks, and came out with a dud of a game plan.  Except for Robinson, our back 7 played scared most of the night.  Which led to them being on the field the whole game.

Ole Miss' vaunted d-line didn't register a sack against them, so I didn't expect to get to their QB.  But the coverage plan was shit.  That was the ball game.  Despite all that, we were in it until the tip/pick.

I will say that staying out of the game thread has been really good for my blood pressure.  So I got that going for me.  Which is nice.
