Nowhere did i say blame the QB. If he is the backup, he should be ready to go into the game. There is 1 depth chart. There is not a depth chart that says don't put this kid in against this team or in this situation. I don't see how this is even debatable

The frustration is that it was his first and only snap of the game. If he had earned reps, why not get him in earlier than 7 minutes left in the game to at least have some feel for it? Especially since he hadn't played much all season.

It's just an underlying knack, I will call it, by the coaching staff for having the wrong instinct at the most critical moments. That tunnel screen would be a good play for Anthony. We had trips to the opposite side, so if we needed another decoy body just for that play, put Brown over there.
