That was an incredible weekend of college football. Hogs went in ranked #6.

Got home from Verizon watching Hogs vs. Houston basketball game that Friday night in time to see #2 Oklahoma State lose in double OT to Iowa State.

Started the tailgate early at The Dump to watch us destroy Mississippi State.

Then the postgame tailgate continued to a buddy's house to watch #1 LSU basically taking knees by mid-3rd quarter against Ole Klan and essentially retiring Hoot from ever coaching again.

Simultaneously, Matt Barkley was beating #4 Oregon and RGIII was beating #5 Oklahoma.

Woke up that Sunday to the aforementioned poll.

*audible sigh*

We don't have to discuss the next Friday.

I don't understand this at all.  I love Hot Springs and spend a lot of time at Oaklawn during the racing season, but Jesus they already get every possible break.  Huge amounts of money pouring in from Saracen and Southland (in addition to Oaklawn) to support purses for racing with absolutely no competition. They have gotten everything they have ever asked for from the legislature, including racing dates, etc.

Yet because they apparently don't think they can be competitive in the online gaming end of it, they block a plan that would surely help the Razorbacks.  Why?  It makes no sense.

I make a few sports bets, mostly just parlays that pay at least 4-1.  But I never include Arkansas games or bet on them in any way-- at least to win or lose.   Would be too much with my heart, and not my head.  Once this year I have bet on them to cover the spread, and I won that.
