Pretty deflating seeing that given that we've fallen the furthest (arguably by far) of anyone in that top 15 over the last 13 seasons.

stanford negates the 'by far' pretty easily. their worst season from 2009 to 2018 was 8-5. since then 4 wins has been their ceiling.

Even though no one is excited for the liberty bowl, Sam needs this one.

Offensively, we should at worst be able to hang with them. That's a good thing, because we'll probably have to.

Most of these bowl games seem to have both teams breaking 30. I would like to say we'll do that too but I'm not entirely optimistic until we've seen Shamar Easter morph into an SEC WR in two weeks time.

I was at the game. My wife was ready to divorce me after making her stay for all of that one. 


What were you doing in Boynton Beach?

I was a senior at Hendrix. Had an old high school friend in town and we were pregaming watching that game at my place before we headed out to whatever party I was taking him to. Shots for this, shots for that. Then, because college, shots just because. Needless to say we were setting BAC records by the time we made it to the party. I miss college.

What were you doing in Boynton Beach?

I lived in WPB/Boynton from '00 - '04. Not sure what it's like nowadays, but it was a great sports bar back then. We frequented the Boyton and Delray locations.

Looked at this Joey McGuire and see that he was 141-42 in high school and went to four state championship games.  Was an assistant under Rhule at Baylor for a few years and here we are.
